Elders

Elders are shepherding leaders responsible for oversight over the entire local church. Their role encompasses the leadership authority to guide the church as well as a pastoral role of spiritual counsel and care as well as instruction in true Christian theology.

Deacons

Grounds Deacon - Sue Currier

The grounds deacon has the responsibility to oversee the care, maintenance and improvement of the exterior grounds of RCC.

Hospitality Deacon -Whitney Hunter

The hospitality deacon is responsible for overseeing the volunteer team that provides for the hospitality and safety of our Sunday morning gatherings. This includes greeters, ushers, welcome desk volunteers, communion servers, and safety team members.

Building Deacons - George Stein, Jim Powell

The building deacons have the responsibility to oversee the care, maintenance and improvement of the RCC buildings, including the main building, the fish house, and the rental properties. They are responsible for coordinating volunteer work as well as professional labor to meet the needs for the care and maintenance of our buildings.

Congregational Support Deacon - Teresah Mason

The congregational support deacon functions as a point person to connect people with requests for care through connection cards, calls to the office, or direct requests. They help facilitate the connection between members of the church through which appropriate care can be provided in times of need.

Finance Deacon - Tom Rice

The finance deacon is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the church, providing strategic financial guidance, and ensuring the church’s financial health. The finance deacon has a big picture role and works closely with the church treasurer, ministry leaders, and the elders to ensure the finances of the church align with both short term and long-term objectives.

Benevolence Deacon - Jake Lessley

The Benevolence Deacon oversees the benevolence fund of RCC, administering those funds with wise compassion and godliness. This deacon is not solely responsible with unilateral authority for the benevolence fund, but they have broad authority to make decisions for how best to help people in need, members of RCC in particular.

Kitchen Deacon - Pam Lessley

The kitchen deacon is responsible for the maintenance and cleanliness of the RCC kitchen and the coordination of food for various RCC events. The kitchen deacon oversees the volunteer team responsible for using the RCC kitchen for the benefit of the church.
